Katadyn®, a world leader in water filtration products for outdoor adventurers and travelers, had recently purchased the Steripen® Brand, a leader in portable water purification. The challenge for Katadyn marketers was how to maintain the integrity of the Steripen brand while adding the Katadyn brand look and feel to the existing packaging structure.
To create a new design, the P&H team questioned everything, eliminated redundancies, cut existing copy, and delivered a unique, easy to read layout for the product information – all to ensure clear branding, thoughtful, intentional placement of all packaging elements, and a successful integration of Steripen into the Katadyn family.
